The following web sites, provide a list of possible sources to guide your job search as well as information about different employers profiles. However be sure to utilize your Career Services Office as they offer more resources to assist you with employment. Career Connection does not work with employers or provide employment assistance.

You can search for different employers in the state of Ohio and, if relocating to another State, you can narrow down your search by U.S. regions. In addition, non-profit jobs, government jobs and job data bases are presented. Finally, if you are a graduate student who is searching for jobs outside academia, you may benefit from these web sites as well.


Handshake is Ohio State's university-wide online resource to connect Ohio State students with employers for jobs, internships, co-ops and career opportunities.

  • Ohio Means Jobs
    Lists jobs and paid internships with state agencies. Also includes information about civil exam procedures.

    Provides information about licensure requirements and job openings at Ohio Schools.

  • Career One Stop
    By some estimates this is the largest job site. AJB is maintained by the US Labor Department and state employment agencies and boasts 600,000 job openings offered by 9,500 employers and recruiting firms. Also includes links to 1000 plus employer Web sites and 450 other job banks.

    List of jobs in the US by states targeting a wide variety of work industries.
